Tradivive - Project Diploma 2024
France and Vietnam share a deep, complex history shaped by colonization, independence, and evolving ties. The final three chapters of Tradivive—Obscura, Gathering, and Love Language—explore the Vietnamese experience in France. Obscura unveils hidden struggles, Gathering celebrates cultural heritage, and Love Language captures love expressed through care. Together, they honor identity, resilience, and connection.

Starving and weak, you collapsed on the ship, too frail to move when a man unknowingly urinated on you. You woke to an Indonesian naval rescue.
You recall the refugee camp fondly—sewing clothes, making outfits for your baby, laughing as your brother chased away those who pooped near your sleeping spot. You rushed across rising tides, hauling fruit to sell.
What amazes me, Mom, is your lack of bitterness. You whisper, sigh, laugh—always accepting.
Now, I sit on your bedroom floor, finally asking to record your story. We speak in Vietnamese, but can I ever truly understand?

SAIGON COFFEE SUPPLY
Allow me to introduce Saigon Coffee Supply, a coffee brand crafted by me, a Vietnamese girl, but made for coffee lovers all around the world.
The logo is created with a classic motif inspired by ancient Vietnam. It's a traditional pattern that is no longer in use, but very familiar with Vietnamese people.
Along with that, the name ‘Saigon’ is the largest city in Vietnam.

The packaging design for Quai Sud's trio of infusions is represented through three flavors: Be Happy, Zero Tox, and Sweet Night.
With illustrations highlighting the main ingredients, the combination of leaves and wood texture creates a fresh and natural feel for Quai Sud's products. The use of a black-and-white color scheme aims to accentuate the product titles while ensuring a cohesive visual connection for customers.

Alphabet of Your City
Alphabet of Your City is a creative project inspired by the traditional patterns of the Nguyễn Dynasty and the palaces in the Imperial City of Huế. Each letter is 100% hand-drawn, with careful attention to detail in every stroke. The colors used for the letters are inspired by the traditional shades of the Nhật Bình dress, worn by the royal family of the Nguyễn Dynasty.
This project not only celebrates Huế’s rich cultural heritage but also honors its history through art. Each letter tells a story of the elegance and beauty of the royal court in Huế. Alphabet of Your City was created as a tribute to my hometown, the place where I was born.
